Directions to Wells:

By train: From the South West, travel to Castle Cary station and then bus or taxi to Wells. From other areas, it’s easiest to catch a train to Bristol Temple Meads, then the number 376 bus to Wells Bus Station. Both Wells Museum and the Yoga Yurt at 7 Welsford Avenue (for Personal Lessons or Yoga Therapy) are within walking distance of Wells Bus Station.

By Bus: National Express run coach services to Bristol Bus Station from many major towns. See www.nationalexpress.com for timetables and booking. Then catch the number 376 bus to Wells Bus Station. The journey takes about 50 minutes. See www.firstgroup.com for timetables

There is also a direct daily coach link with National Express from London Victoria Coach Station and Heathrow Airport to Wells Bus Station. This can be a convenient and cost effective route for those travelling from London, or from further afield by plane via London. You can find further details here.

Both Wells Museum and the Yoga Kuti at 7 Welsford Avenue (for Personal Lessons or Yoga Therapy) are within easy walking distance of Wells Bus Station (about 5 minutes walk).

Parking: There is usually ample free parking outside 7 Welsford Avenue. For the museum, there is limited free parking on Cathedral Green on Sundays and ample parking in the car park Whiting Way. The daily rate is £6.50

By Air: To Bristol International Airport, then airport express coach service number 330 to Bristol Bus Station. This journey takes about 45 minutes. Then follow the directions under “By Bus”.
